A blog about the six big Handy kids: Steve, Susan, Mark, Elaine, Anne, and Preston--and their offspring. This is a way for us to keep in touch across city, county, state lines, and across gaps in our reunions. We'd love to hear about events in your family's life, so feel free to post here.
Cole turned 19 yesterday. WOW! It seems like yesterday he was a blonde haired little boy.
Cole received his mission call to the Wisconsin Milwaukee Mission and will leave on January 12th. His farewell will be Dec. 26 @1:00.
BYU has been invited to the New Mexico Bowl on Dec. 18th. Cole is so excited! He will get to travel and dress for the game but no redshirts will play. So look for #65 on the sidelines!
Cole received his endowments at the Bountiful Temple. It was an awesome experience for us - a big pay day for sure!
Can you sing, "We love Ogden High School and the memories..." Remind me of all of the words. What a beautiful building and how wonderful that it is being restored to its glory days!
This morning as I was continuing my study and preparation for my Sunday school lesson today, I watched the groundbreaking video of the Rome, Italy temple. I am in admiration and awe of those tremendously faithful members in Italy and surrounding countries who have waited for years to have this blessing in their life. What a incredible time we live in to watch as the church continues to spread its influence across the world.
We also have so many wonderful resources to strengthen our own testimonies through a variety of different media. Wow...we live during a great time!
I hope that you, too, will find inspiration as you watch this video. Enjoy!
Apparently, Hand Dancing is catching on all over! Where? Well, I guess with these two Irish Dancers. Certainly they are very clever and have incredible timing and concentration. Just makes you want to get up and dance (that is with your hands!).
