Apparently, Hand Dancing is catching on all over! Where? Well, I guess with these two Irish Dancers. Certainly they are very clever and have incredible timing and concentration. Just makes you want to get up and dance (that is with your hands!).

This One's for Hire
I have several projects for Emily to complete before she gets a job. Something that she is very, very good at is organization. She loves to put things in their proper place. She moves this and that, she stacks here and there; she folds and presses this way and that. I love it!
This task: defrost our freezer and put everything back...in order! Well, this is much better (and it wasn't bad!) then it was before. Doesn't it look lovely?
Now you know what is in our freezer and what you can request when you come to eat.
And did I say: "This One's for Hire?" Indeed she is...for a price!

Voice of the Spirit
This morning I watched this you tube message by Elder James E. Faust. It is timely and inspirational for all of us. I hope that you will find the same, too.

Boundary Waters Canoe Trip
On August 16 through the 20th, Emily and I went with 5 other women to the Boundary Waters (that's so named because they are the waters between Minnesota and Canada).

Good Morning
Here is the view I get to see this time of year as I look out our front door. Isn't it just beautiful and green? As you may see, we had a little rain last night and it just keeps everything looking marvelous! Come and visit us sometime!!

Recent Highlights..............
Here are some of the highlights of the last few days...............
We had a fun girls night out eating pizza and playing games........
Cole just completed his first week of fall camp with the BYU football team. He is loving every minute and is exhausted by the end of the day. They start at 7 am and end around 8 pm. The day is full of position meetings, lifting, practice & team building activities. He is living the dream of playing for BYU. He has loved them from the time he was a little boy and still can't wrap his head around that he is wearing a BYU uniform. YAY for #65!!!

Trip to Jackson Hole
The Jones family, Elaine and Lexie recently took a qick trip to Jackson Hole and the Teton National Forest. We stayed in the Teton Village, cruised around Jackson, had dinner and were entertained at the Bar J, canoed on Jenny Lake, saw deer, antelope and moose (but no bears). The highlight of the trip was horseback riding through the Tetons. It was awesome! This was not some "dude" ranch riding on "plugs". The horses we rode were well trained mountain horses and mules. Our guide, Heidi, took us on a 4 hour ride that was similar to riding up North Fork and on the backside of Ben Lomond. The weather was perfect with bule skies and the mountains were green with wild flowers growing everywhere. We sat and had lunch (not exaclty "cowboy" sandwiches) with a perfect view of the valley below. This ride was not for beginners and even though McKenzie, Cole, Brock & Lexie are experienced riders they did great? Did I mention it was AWESOME?!
